Our Mascot still needs a name.... at the printing of this newsletter. (He was named in the April 1998 newsletter.)
LIMITED EDITION is a model that has no special details but is produced for only one year.
DECORATOR COLORS were Breyer fantasy colors in the 1960s that are very rare. Colors are Copenhagen, glossy dapple blue; Florentine, glossy dapple gold; Golden Charm, gloosy solid gold; Wedgewood, matte solid blue. All have white manes and tails.
SPECIAL RUNS are models that are produced in limited quantities for sale exclusively at model horse events (like Beryerfest), or certain mail order companies.
TEST COLOR is a trial model painted by Breyer to test a specific color on a model. WOODGRAINS were Breyer models from teh 1950s & 1960s, painted to look like wood.
1 can (20 ounces) | crushed pineapple, undrained |
1 can (21 ounces) | cherry pie filling |
1 package (18-1/4 ounces) | yellow cake mix |
1/2 cup | butter or margarine |
Evenly spread pineapple in a greased 13 in x 9 in baking pan. Carefully spread cherry pie filling on top. Sprinkle with dry cake mix. Dot with butter. Bake at 350 degrees for 50-60 minutes, or until the top is browned. Let cool, enjoy. |
