Rubber stamp candle

Need: While pillar candle (6 or 9" best), white tissue paper, black permanent ink stamp pad, horse rubber stamp of choice, colored pencils, heat gun, scissors
  1. Using ink stamp pad, stamp desired image onto white tissue paper.
  2. Color with colored pencils.
  3. Cut out, you don't have to be very careful, just cut near the edge.
  4. Decide where you want the image to go on the candle. Using the heat gun (BE CAREFUL!) heat the candle where the image is to go.
    Press the image onto the sotfened wax.
    Continue to use the heat gun to melt the wax slightly to cover the tissue.
    Let cool.

LIMITED EDITION is a model that has no special details but is produced for only one year.

DECORATOR COLORS were Breyer fantasy colors in the 1960s that are very rare. Colors are Copenhagen, glossy dapple blue; Florentine, glossy dapple gold; Golden Charm, gloosy solid gold; Wedgewood, matte solid blue. All have white manes and tails.

SPECIAL RUNS are models that are produced in limited quantities for sale exclusively at model horse events (like Beryerfest), or certain mail order companies.

TEST COLOR is a trial model painted by Breyer to test a specific color on a model. WOODGRAINS were Breyer models from teh 1950s & 1960s, painted to look like wood.


Valentine's Pineapply Cherry Cake

1 can (20 ounces)crushed pineapple, undrained
1 can (21 ounces)cherry pie filling
1 package (18-1/4 ounces)yellow cake mix
1/2 cupbutter or margarine
Evenly spread pineapple in a greased 13 in x 9 in baking pan. Carefully spread cherry pie filling on top. Sprinkle with dry cake mix. Dot with butter. Bake at 350 degrees for 50-60 minutes, or until the top is browned. Let cool, enjoy.
